JKM Trade Tracker is built by traders for traders. We were tired of jumping between five tabs to find a single setup — one for the screener, one for charts, one for earnings, one for journaling, one for option size — so we built one workflow that does all of it.
Two parallel signal pipelines run live every market day. A broad scanning engine checks roughly 600 names every 5 minutes for clean Buy Call and Buy Put setups. A second pipeline — our proprietary TradingView indicator — watches 72 hand-picked symbols continuously and delivers higher-quality setups in under a second, with stop, target, and reward-to-risk pre-computed.
Every signal is rated 0–100 on objective quality. Above your threshold, the platform places the order on your own Alpaca account automatically — sized to your price-tier rules, with a protective stop placed at the signal level. As your position climbs, the stop ratchets up automatically: it stays fixed below your first profit milestone, then converts to a smart trailing stop once the trade has proved itself. Multiple safety layers guarantee day-trade positions are flat by 4 PM ET even if the platform restarts. Below your threshold, you get a 🎯 Manual Trade button that pre-fills the order form for review.
On top of all that: an on-demand Signal Checker for any symbol on any interval, scanners for 52-week edges, earnings, pre-market movers and Today's Catalysts, a watchlist with price and signal alerts, a backtest harness, position sizer, auto-journaling, and wash-sale protection — all in one clean UI with light/dark themes.
🛡 Safety architecture. Every close path is position-aware — if the protective stop already fired, the system refuses to submit another sell, so it can never accidentally flip your account from long to short. An external watchdog runs at 3:58 PM ET completely independent of the main app, in case the platform itself is hung. Reconcile routines run twice a day to keep your trade journal in sync with Alpaca. Every admin action and every broker call is logged. Alpaca API keys are encrypted at rest. Your data lives on either SQLite or PostgreSQL — your choice via a single environment variable.
